Prime Minister briefed on the programs and projects of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the coming period

His Excellency Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris was briefed on the performance of the Ministry of Youth and Sports during the past period, particularly in the areas of preparing stadiums and sports fields and organizing numerous sports activities that witnessed large public attendance, reflecting a real return of citizens to the national capital, Khartoum. This came during his meeting today in Khartoum with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Professor Ahmed Adam Ahmed. The meeting addressed the ministry's programs and projects for the coming period, ongoing efforts to rehabilitate the World Youth City, and the activation of several sports, youth, and vocational programs at the Youth and Children's Palace, while affirming the importance of youth participation abroad. The Minister of Youth and Sports announced that the ministry is in the process of procuring 10 turf pitches for sports stadiums in Khartoum. He further revealed that they have received an invitation to meet with officials at the Qatari Ministry of Youth and Sports, noting in this regard that the Qatari officials have expressed their readiness to grant Sudan two football stadiums.
