The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Khartoum, Professor Imad al-Din al-Amin al-Tahir Aradeeb—Chair of the Post-War Sudan Reconstruction and Social Fabric Restoration Committee—explained in a press statement on the sidelines of his participation in the Strategic Hope Forum that the committee, sensing its national responsibility, has formed sub-committees including members of higher education from universities, research centers, ministries, and experts in various fields. He indicated that the Post-War Sudan Reconstruction Committee, through workshops organized with relevant authorities, has worked to align and incorporate the committees' strategic plans with the five-year strategic plan of the Hope Government ministries in order to produce a unified plan, noting that all these efforts culminated in the convening of the Hope Government Strategic Forum. The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Khartoum stated that the forum reviewed the strategic plan of the Hope Government (2027-2031), which was finally approved, and about 35 systems were selected, 13 of which were identified as priorities in the 2027 strategy. Professor Imad al-Din Aradeeb confirmed that a wide spectrum of academics, experts, specialists, and the private sector participated in preparing the five-year strategic plan, expressing his hope for the success of the strategic plan and that it will reflect positively on the livelihoods, security, and stability of the citizen. He added, 'Just as the University of Khartoum has returned despite the ruin and destruction it suffered at the hands of the rebellious terrorist Rapid Support Forces militia, Sudan will return better than it was before.'
