The Prime Minister Praises the Performance of the Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources

His Excellency the Prime Minister, Professor Kamil Idris, praised the performance of the Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources and the achievements it has made during the past period. He directed that all obstacles hindering its operations be removed so that it may fulfill its assigned role. This came during his meeting today in Khartoum with the Secretary-General of the Higher Council for Environment and Natural Resources, Mr. Suleiman Al-Buni Suleiman, who explained in a press statement that the meeting reviewed the council's strategy and addressed its external engagements related to climate, the environment, desertification, and biodiversity. He noted that the council has attracted a number of projects during the past period and has been able to open avenues for partnerships with major institutions.
