Prime Minister Emphasizes the Importance of Synergizing Official and Popular Efforts to Provide Services and Create a Suitable Environment for Citizens' Return

Within the framework of the Hope Government's efforts to support recovery and reconstruction initiatives in Khartoum State, Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris held a meeting today in Khartoum with the Riyadh City Reconstruction and Development Committee. The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Energy and Minerals, the Governor of Khartoum State, the Executive Director of Khartoum Locality, and several security leadership figures in the state. The meeting reviewed the status of ongoing reconstruction and development projects in Riyadh City and discussed ways to accelerate the pace of work to help prepare a suitable environment for the return of citizens. The meeting addressed the challenges associated with providing electricity and water services in Riyadh City, as well as ongoing efforts to rehabilitate damaged supply networks and service stations. The meeting also assessed the security situation in the area and emphasized the necessity of complementary roles between security agencies and citizens to secure and serve residential neighborhoods and public facilities. During the meeting, Professor Kamil Idris underscored the importance of combining official and public efforts to achieve the desired goals, contributing to the return of citizens to Khartoum State in general. The committee members expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the state leadership's interest in providing basic services in the area, affirming their cooperation with all state agencies to overcome current service challenges and restore normalcy as quickly as possible.
