Damazin - October 4, 2026 - Radio Dabanga: The 'Ta'sees' alliance forces announced on Saturday their complete control over the Kadalu area in Roseires Province, Blue Nile Region, following their seizure of several areas including: Menza, Jebel al-Nimr, Jebel al-Noum, Bashkerkett, Matanqoya, Mangeleng al-Juwani, Masanbaqa, and Makla, while the Armed Forces announced the repelling of the attack through a qualitative operation. Additionally, the Rapid Support Forces carried out a drone attack on Saturday in Damazin, targeting the home of the regional governor, Ahmed al-Omda. The alliance indicated in a circular seen by 'Radio Dabanga' that it engaged in fierce battles and was able to seize more than 20 combat vehicles and destroy other vehicles and equipment. The 'Ta'sees' forces stated that they managed to capture a large number of army soldiers, and the counting process is still ongoing. The Kadalu area is located on the border with Ethiopia and extends along the Roseires Dam. Qualitative operation: For its part, the command of the 4th Infantry Division stated that the Armed Forces soldiers and supporting forces dealt a crushing blow to the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement forces in the Menza and Bashkerkett areas in the eastern sector of the Blue Nile Region. Drone attack: On the other hand, Blue Nile Regional Governor Ahmed al-Omda said in a post on Facebook on Saturday that the Rapid Support Forces carried out an attack with suicide drones that targeted the governor's house and some civilian landmarks, and posted photos attached to the post showing the extent of the destruction, indicating that air defense forces repelled an attack carried out by the Rapid Support Forces using suicide drones.
