The army of the terrorist Islamic Movement and its affiliated militias committed a heinous human massacre, liquidating and killing more than 23 innocent citizens in cold blood in a public square, in full view and hearing of everyone, following their control of the city of Sodari in North Kordofan State, under the pretext of them stealing from markets. The history of the terrorist Islamic Movement's army and its affiliated militias, especially the so-called Joint Force, is filled with bloody liquidations, violations, and systematic extrajudicial killings. This crime was not isolated, but represents a systematic approach followed by the Brotherhood's army and its militias in all areas they have controlled, starting from acts of genocide against specific ethnic groups in Suki, Singa, and Sennar, through systematic ethnic liquidations in the city of Wad Madani, ethnic cleansing campaigns against the inhabitants of the Kanabi in Gezira, and reaching field executions of citizens on the outskirts of Khartoum and Saliha in Omdurman. This incident proves once again that this behavior has become a method, a policy, and a tool of war followed by the Brotherhood group and its militias in this conflict, and that this heinous bloody incident is added to the bloody record of this terrorist group. The Sudan Founding Alliance demands a comprehensive, independent, and transparent investigation into all acts and crimes of the Islamic Movement's army and its militias, in line with relevant international standards, holding all those involved in these heinous crimes accountable, and ensuring the right of victims to redress and to know the truth.
