North Kordofan – October 2, 2026 – Radio Dabanga The Sudanese Founding Alliance (Tasis) has accused the Armed Forces and their supporting forces of liquidating and killing more than 23 citizens after seizing control of the city of Sodari in North Kordofan State, on the grounds of allegations that they had looted markets. The Armed Forces took control of the Sodari area last week as part of their advancement in North Kordofan State. Ahmed Tagad, the official spokesperson for the coalition, stated in a release reviewed by “Radio Dabanga” that the executions were carried out in cold blood in a public square, in full view and earshot of everyone. The statement accused the Armed Forces and the Joint Force of committing bloody liquidations, violations, and systematic extrajudicial killings, indicating that this crime is not an isolated incident but rather represents an adopted approach. The Sudanese Founding Alliance demanded a comprehensive, independent, and transparent investigation into what it described as the crimes and actions of the Armed Forces, in line with relevant international standards, as well as holding all those involved in these heinous crimes accountable and ensuring the victims’ right to redress and the truth. Radio Dabanga was unable to obtain information from independent sources regarding the incident.
